72 Hour Guarantee

The breeder agress the puppy is in good health at the time of sale. Breeder agrees to replace the puppy (if another one is avaialble) or refund the cost of the puppy if a licensed veterinarian judges it to be in a non-healthy condition upon arrival. The examination must be within 72 hours or receiving the puppy. If the sale is on a weekend, the sale is considered to be at 10 a.m. Monday and you would have until Wednesday to get the puppy seen. A second opinion may be requested. The puppy must be returned to the seller unharmed. No veterinarian fees or transportation costs will be paid by the seller. Great care has been exercised to ensure the puppy is free of parasites, worms, or coccidia. Please enable the free 30-day Trupanion Pet Insurance in case something happens out of your control. Information is at the end of this contract.
 

1 Year Health Guarantee

HEALTH GUARANTEE AGAINST GENETIC DEFECTS THAT MAKE THE PUPPY UNSUITABLE FOR A “FAMILY PET.” Buyer understands that the following slight genetic defects are not considered serious or life threatening and therefore are not covered: umbilical hernia, cherry eye, undescended testicle, under or over bite, grade 1 or 2 patellas. We also fo not guarantee adult color or final weight. All of our puppies are checked at 6 weeks of age. If any of these problems are evident at that time, you will be informed before taking your puppy home. If a genetic defect occurs that makes the puppy unsitable for a pet after the 72 hour guarantee, the puppy will be replaced by a puppy of equal value when available after verification from a veterinarian has been received and reviewed by Breeder’s veterinarian. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs incurred for a replacement puppy in the case of a genetic defect or Buyer may choose to keep the puppy and accept all responsiblities. Breeder is not responsible for shipping costs.

We cannot guarantee that your puppy will never develop any health problem, just as a pediatrician cannot guarantee a child will never develop any health problems in the future. Some things are just not able to be predicted. Our parents are free of diseases, disorders, and health problems; otherwise we would not breed them. That means our puppies are less likely to develop problems. If anything does occur, you are required to inform us so we can evaluate the parents and other puppies from that litter in an attempt to determine the cause of the ailment and to eliminate the issue from our breeding program.

The breeder states that the puppy has received the following vaccinations: (1) Intra Trac 3 protecting against kennel cough, (1) Neopar shot at 4 weeks protecting against Parvo, and (2) Nobivac 5-way shots protecting against distempter, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and coronavirus. Puppies are wormed with Pyrantel at 2, 4, & 6 weeks. Puppies are wormed with Panacur for 3 consecutive dats at 7 weeks old. Buyer is required to follow up on puppy booster shots at 12, 16 & 20 weeks, then yearly for the puppy’s life. A rabies shot can be given between 12-16 weeks, which is strongly recommended for the protection of your puppy and your family. Worming is recommended every month for the first year of the puppy’s life; as well as flea and tick, and heartworm prevention. It is strongly cautioned to keep your puppy away from public places such as parks, sidewalks, and grasses until your puppy is properly vaccinated with all (3) 5-eay boosters. Parvo will not be covered after the 72 hour period the puppy is taken into your care. While vaccines are a preventative, they are not 100% effective. All puppies respond differently to vaccines, based on the amount of their mother’s immuity they retain.

Injury beyond seller’s control is not guaranteed. Buyer agrees this puppy will be given adequate and proper shelter and housed securely whether indoors or in a fenced in yard. This dog will not be neglected, allowed to roam free in large cities, or mistreated in any manner. The puppy will receive proper veterinary care throughout its life, receiving annual vaccinations and other preventatives. The puppy will receive proper nutrition and care will be taken to maintain its proper weight. Buyer arees to give this puppy proper training and socialization. Buyer agrees never to sell or surrended this dog into a dog fighting institution, testing center, or shelter.
 

2 Year Health Guarantee Exension

Due to varying kinds of food and different environmental conditions the puppies come in contact with; and the fact that all puppies have immune systems that take time to maturem we highly recommend NuVet Plus ummune system builder to help them maintain their optimal health.

We are so confident NuVet Plus will benefit your new puppy; we will extend this guarantee by 2 years. To qualify for this guarantee entension, you must give your new puppy NuVet Plus, using the manufacturer’s recommended daily dosage, for the entire guarantee period. Failure to do so makes this guarantee extension null and void. We also highly recommend you continue to give your pet NuVet Plus beyond the guarantee period to promote optimal health for a lifetime. It provides great benefits for older dogs as well.

Spay/Neuter Contract

This puppy is being sold as a pet only. Buyer agrees to spay/neuter their puppy by the time the puppy reaches 1 year of age. While most of our puppies are registered, I will hold the papers until proof of spay/neuter is sent by mail, email, or text. After I receive proof of spay/neuter then I will mail the registration papers if applicable.

Trupanion Pet Insurance

You will receive 30 days free pet insurance through Trupanion. We encourage everyone to set this up or the health guarantee is null and void. I have had puppies undergoing surgery within the first week of being home because they have swallowed something. Puppies have also contracted Parvo being exposed before booster shots were completed. ER visits and surgeries cost well into the thousands. Please be proactive with your pup’s health. You must activate this insurance within the window, which is 24 hours before going home or the day of going home. I hope you never have to use it, but some things are out of our control and then we regret not being proactive later.

The contract must be signed before the puppy goes home or the guarantee is null and void.

The Buyer has read this agreement and the health guarantee from the Breeder, understands it, and agrees to abide by the terms stated above.
